I haven’t used these shorts for running yet but used them during weight lifting. I really like the coverage. Shorts did not ride up at all during my hour workout.

LOVE the Jog 6" short! I've purchased these in three colors so far, and I really hope that OV keeps it in the mix! Since I'm curvy and on the taller side, I can get self-conscious showing too much thigh during neighborhood runs - so I love that the length of the liner is longer than most other OV shorts. (I wanted to love the Hudson - but even the longer version is just too short for me). Plus, the pockets on these keep my iPhone more stable than any other shorts I own, and there are enough of them for keys, earbuds, whatever.

The spandex under these shorts were GREAT. They had a "rubber" grip on the inside to prevent them from riding up, which actually seemed to work. The outer layer though rode up the second you took two steps, and would look like underwear over spandex. If you have thin legs, I'm sure these would be better. My legs are muscular build and I tend to hold most my weight in my thighs/butt, not my waist.

I love how there is the grip on these shorts so the liner doesn't ride up. Such a game changer during runs!
