Court Dress

I have this dress in black and in green (constantly lamenting that i didn't buy the orange one) and during the summer, I just rotate them and wash them a million times a week. These dresses are comfortable, great fit, buttery soft, breathable, and so so so cute. Because the top is basically a longline double time bra, you don't have to wear anything on top of or under it, it's a complete unit that you can just slam on and head out. If the whole dress is your right size, it will hold you super tight. It's a one-piece that doesn't need embellishment, but is easy to cover up/modify to suit cooler weather. Any cropped hoodie looks great with it, but I love to pair it with the Doing Things Diamanté hoodie or the Pickup organic hoodie to transition it from summer to early fall. Now, it doesn't transition much further than that as far as outside wear, but it does make good inside workout gear/around-the-house clothes, yoga class wear, I've even worn it as a swimsuit in a pinch. So it does maintain its worth outside the summer.

This dress is so cute! The secret shorts underneath make me feel like I can do anything. This is my go-to summer dress and is perfect for hanging out outside, going to baseball games, roller skating, and going on walks. I haven’t taken it on a spin playing tennis just yet, but think the movability in the fabric will work out well! It’s a really flattering cut and I find that it fits my hourglass shape well.
